In Each Book There Is A Phrase That Is Waiting To Be Yours

The book and the people have many things in common, among them that we are both infinite. Therefore, reading does not only mean passing time, it can also help us to get to know ourselves through the words of others.

Reading is a journey that can take us to unknown worlds, even within ourselves : dare to travel, because the further that journey is, the deeper the personality you will achieve and the easier it will be for you to push away what hurts you.

The book is infinite, it always has something to reveal

Borges already said it, who always imagined that paradise would be some kind of library. And it is true that a library is, to say the least, infinite, because in literature there are conquests, history, love, fantasies, thoughts; but, above all, as many options as pens to write them.

Once we delve into a book, its author gives us the opportunity to seize something that was previously his. It offers us its inner universe so that each reader has the opportunity to know it, interpret it and, especially, reinvent it. Sometimes in a book there are phrases that wait for us to become ours: they want us to discover them so that we also discover ourselves.

The meaning of the word also becomes infinite, because with it we awaken worlds that, possibly, we could not imagine without the help of a book. So isn’t it true that these infinite and unreal universes sometimes live fervently within us? Let us become masters of these worlds, because they lead us to enter our own parts that we could not have imagined otherwise.

Reading is an inner journey

There are situations in which sadness is so great that it seems impossible to externalize what we have inside. As Julio Cortázar said, “words are never enough when what needs to be said overflows the soul.” That is why it is curious that it is the words themselves that make the illusion come back to us.

There are some phrases that can help us see full a glass that until recently was empty, so we have to be aware of the power that these little giants have in people.

One of the best things about going on a trip is knowing the infinity of realities that the world offers us. Forms of life that until recently we could think of unthinkable, or that had not even occurred to us, now provoke admiration and even curiosity when we think about them. The same happens when we read, although this time the farthest journey can lead us to the deepest knowledge.

Accepting that in each one there are paths that are more difficult to walk is also part of life and the solution is not to flee from them but to walk them : the longer it takes us, the greater the reward and the more accomplices we will be with ourselves.

You are ready: change your world, turn it into literature

It is true that creating imaginary worlds may be easier than changing the real world, but everything that surrounds us today surely had a utopian basis in its origins: Think, what if Columbus had not wanted to show that the earth was not flat?

It is good to believe in the impossible, because perhaps one day we will be able to make it happen : the important thing is not to lose the illusion for what gives us reasons to trace a meaning.

We already know that reality is subjective and that with a positive attitude we can mold it to ourselves. That is why we have to believe in it and pursue the dreams we have, even if they sometimes seem unattainable. Let’s choose those little phrases from the books that mark us and write our history: we already have some ideas, now is the time for us to invent new ways of being happy.
