Whoever Loves You Well Will Make You Happy

Who loves you well will make you happy

It is very possible that throughout your life you have repeatedly heard the phrase “who loves you well will make you cry. And although it is true that the popular proverb is correct most of the time, on this occasion it is necessary to reformulate the expression to “whoever loves you well will make you happy.”

For what reason should we offer suffering and tears to the person we love? This idea, actually built by romantic love, brings us once again the almost inevitable concept that loving is synonymous with suffering.

Taking into account these classic views on the concept of love and affective relationships, we are faced with the priority of focusing on this idea for our own good, for our personal and emotional balance.

Love should never be blind, we should never launch into a relationship with an open heart, a blindfold and with self-esteem in the other person’s pocket.

It is necessary to build a conscious, mature and responsible love. It is important never to forget that whoever loves you does not hurt you. Whoever loves you with integrity and respect, will seek to make you happy at all times.

The love that knows how to build itself day by day makes us happy

Think of love as a little flame that you find … that finds you. It is a fire that illuminates and comforts us, but that must be enlivened every day so that it is maintained, so that it envelops us with more intensity and perfection with its light, with its warmth, so that it makes us even happier.

Bear in mind that if we accept the idea that love implies having to suffer, we will be much more permissive from the beginning to certain things, to certain renunciations, limits, manipulations and selfishness.

  • We can worry about the other person, and suffer for their well-being if the circumstance arises. However, this type of suffering has nothing to do with what our partner can inflict on us voluntarily.
  • Whoever says he loves you today and leaves you tomorrow to come back after days, does not love you: he hurts you.
  • Love are not excuses, they are not reproaches or ironies that seek to hurt with words. None of this makes us happy, and none of this would come from a heart that knows respect, that knows what authentic, mature and responsible love is.
  • To love is to be happy because the other person exists. To love someone is to feel joy inside and to look every day for a way to make the other happy.

We all have our thorns, our regrets from the past. However, love is an adventure that will always be worthwhile at any time in our lives. For this, it is necessary that we take into account these aspects:

  • We must be clear that sometimes love is not eternal. Therefore, be careful not to give everything for nothing, attend to your personal growth, do not relegate jobs, dreams and friends … Do not leave behind what defines you, or at any given moment, you can lose everything.
  • Love without depending: it depends on yourself but never stop building love in every detail, encouraging it in every gesture, in every word. Create but encourage your self-esteem, your identity …
  • Offer yourself freely and with integrity, without fear, without resentments from yesterday, without insecurities that others must resolve for you. Be brave and show courage for what you want, and what you want is to be happy, not to be hurt.
  • Don’t look for a perfect love or an ideal relationship. It does not exist: the relationship is built every day, fitting your corners with my voids, your rough edges with my softness, my shadows with your lights …
  • Real love implies growing together in difficulties, it is wanting and understanding, it is surviving with friendship, enjoying passion and building a simple complicity, without artifice or falsehood.
